Build an innovative application powered by the Gemini API that solves a real-world problem or creates a meaningful user experience. Participants are encouraged to explore AI-powered workflows, intelligent assistants, automation systems, developer tools, education platforms, productivity solutions, and more.

Projects will be judged based on:

  • Effective and meaningful use of the Gemini API
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Technical implementation
  • User experience and impact
  • Overall project quality

 

The project must clearly demonstrate how Gemini API is integrated into the application.


Best App Deployed on Google Cloud

 

Build and fully deploy your application on Google Cloud infrastructure. This challenge focuses on production-ready applications that leverage Google Cloud services for hosting, deployment, scalability, storage, APIs, or backend infrastructure.

Projects will be judged based on:

  • Successful deployment on Google Cloud
  • Technical architecture and scalability
  • Real-world usability
  • Deployment quality and reliability
  • Overall innovation and execution

Get Started

 

  1. Form a team and identify a problem to solve.
  2. Choose one or both challenge categories.
  3. Build your solution during the hackathon.
  4. Integrate Gemini API and/or deploy your application on Google Cloud.
  5. Submit your project before the deadline.

What to Submit

 

Each team must submit:

  • Project name
  • Team member information
  • Project description
  • Demo video (recommended: 2–5 minutes)
  • GitHub repository link
  • Live deployment link (if applicable)
  • Presentation slides (optional but recommended)
  • Documentation explaining:
    • Problem statement
    • Solution overview
    • Technologies used
    • Gemini API usage
    • Google Cloud deployment details

For challenge categories:

 

  • Best Use of Gemini API: clearly explain where and how Gemini API is used.
  • Best App Deployed on Google Cloud: provide a working deployed version and mention the Google Cloud services used.
